TO FIBER OPTIC CONVERTER

The ETH-FIBER-SM-2 is a Single Mode 10/100/1000M Ethernet to fiber optic media converter or Adaptive Gigabit Ethernet fiber optic converter, which provides one channel for media conversion between 10/100/1000BaseTX and 1000Base-SX/LX. The Single Mode media converter can extend the 10/100/1000M Ethernet distance to up to 12.4 miles (20 km). The ETH-FIBER-SM-2 is a plug and play unit featuring auto-negotiation for half or full-duplex and 10, 100 or 1000Mbps data rates, it also supports MDI (straight-through) and MDIX (crossover) cables, no DIP switch or jumper settings are required.

The ETH-FIBER-SM-2 has a RJ45 for Ethernet connection and either ST type or SC type connectors for fiber optic links. Separate external power supply is included in package.
